Literate programming needs a mascot, and that obviously should be a literate sloth. Yes, there are Google hits for a “sloth reading a book”. Knuth described literate programming as changing our attitudes about programming; “instead of the main task being instructing a computer, it will be explaining to a human what the program intends to do.”
